Don't get me wrong nice jeep. I like big tired rigs but it seems there are so many now that it "almost" takes much of the challenge out of wheeling when you can pretty much drive over "most" obstacles. Notice I said almost and most. I know there are some insane trails 40" plus or bigger tires are required to conquer it's just I am more into rigs 35's and under.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But we've got my rig for those!

He's building "Destroyer 2.0", so that we can tackle ANYTHING. If you've ever been to Golden Mountain OHV you know what I'm talking about. It's NUTZ up there. Last time we went we were on 35" tires and a long arm and the dang access trails are a challenge up there!

Did he buy drop in axles from someone like Solid or fit up some old stuff. Looks like an HP60 with reid knuckles, so I'm assuming he built them.

I often think about building a jeep. They look so simple.
For all the parts you can't buy from a catalog.

He built them himself. Front is a 60, and the rear is a shaved pig (14 bolt). WAY cheaper than buying them already built, especially for what you get. Yeah, Reid knuckles.... I've got a set sitting in the garage right now....

Looks like an awesome daily driver.

Looks like a ton o' fun. I don't see that there would be much that it couldn't get over/through.

I wonder if it's a requirement that everyone that builds a trail rig own a forklift as well? Every pic I see has the same flex pic with the tow motor lifting one tire off the ground.

Cool Jeep. These guys Home of the Rocket City Rock Crawlers 4WD Club hold a King of the Hill rock crawling competition every year. I missed the last 2 years due to my son's baseball games. It's a blast watching them run the course.

It's almost finished, should make the first trip with it maybe this weekend to to Golden Mtn. I couldn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes, but Golden Mt is really just as it was described to me.... as if God said "Let there be rock, insane eat your Jeep rock".

    HAHAHAHA,

Not Jason's monster?!?!?!?!?!?!! That cartoon-vid he made was classic.

FWIW Jamtoy-->He had this jeep set up on 35's before going "destroyer" like it is now. Jason really brought the pain with this setup. I love the new setup, it's definitely going to leave others behind!

I am master of all mallcrawling.

Even if I do what I have planned this spring I will at most be on 33's. Then I will conquer the lifestyle shopping plaza's.

    Still, monster rigs are cool.
