    wheel well spray?

Well I have noticed as the ice is falling out of my wheel well's that also the factory black protectant is coming off with it in places. Does anyone have any good experiences with some of the spray stuff? I was thinking about redoing it this summer. Or should I even really worry about it.

That spray on bedliner in a can at Autozone works great--it is in a blue can--just make sure to scuff the area up before you spray it.

My guess is that it's NOT the factory coating that is coming off. Most cars are NOT undercoated from the factory. That's why there are companies like Ziebart around. If you bought the car new- some dealer prep guy most likely sprayed something in the wheel wells in order to black everything out. If it's used when you got it- then it's even more likely that someone sprayed something in there to make it look better on the lot.

pretty sure every wrx has it.

Thanks for the help guys might give it a try this summer.

Edit: did a search on the subaru forums and a bunch of people have blown the coating off at the car wash. Some used bedliner some used the rubberized stuff.

It's a spray can. It doesn't get much easier.
