Does anybody know what a chevy v6 292 came in?Im just wondering.

the 4.3 is a 262. 292 would be equivelent to a 4.8 liter. Thats a pretty big V6, I dont really remember seeing one though.

I think it is an old chevy truck engine used in larger trucks?? But im really not sure but for some reason I seem to recall that.

The 79 Chevy C10 has it in there. Its a Inline 6 though. The 292
From 73-80 the 292 was available.

Does anybody make a blower manifodl for a 4.3?I seen were a guy make a blower manifodl for a vega out of sheetmetal ounce that might work.

yup, 292 is an inline 6. it's a freakin stump puller. my dad had an old 1 ton tow truck with a 292 in it, you could put the front bumper against a tree and with the truck in 1st, it would just sit and spin the tires (all six) at idle
there is a company out there that make lots of stuff for the 4.3 and even a 4 cyl with the same bore/stroke and cylinder size. i can't remember the company now, but here is one of the 4's - http://www.stu-offroad.com/misc/scat/scat-1.htm

Ive never heard of a 292 GM V6. He had to be talking about a I6. GMC made some "big block" V6's in the '60s but they ranged from a 305 ci. to 478 ci..
