Is there anyone in town that does ceramic coatings? If so what types?

There is a ceramic powder coat that is supposed the work well in high temp settings but don't have any first hand knowledge of it. There is a place in Columbia, TN that I got my powders from called Columbia Coatings. They might be able to give you some more information on how well that coating does and maybe someone in the area that does it.

Of course that would be in the case that you can't find anyone that does real ceremic coating. It also might be a cheaper alternative.

Here is their website. http://www.columbiacoatings.com/

Doesn't Stinger make medical carts and tables, they are just up the road from where I work. We use someplace fairly local for our ceramic coating here at work, I'll try to get a name sometime after lunch.

But are these temp insulating coatings or just no rust look good? Really don't want to toast a clutch cable.

I think the name of the place is ServicTech, they do a JetHot type coating, a friend had a intake done and was very happy with it. The phone is 615-227-9899. good luck

Swain Tech in New York is one of the best around they have heat barrier coating they coat pistons, rods, cranks, cylinder heads, valves, rotors, brake calipers, under side of intakes, gears, shift forks, almost anything to block heat or reduce friction.

I completed installing the long tubes, and figured a shot of the collectors would show how Nitroplate coating does inside the tubes also.

I have used the 2600 deg black for our exhaust stuff and the ceramachrome for compressor housings and IC piping and is good stuff.
