I am looking for a good custom audio installer around nashville. The job requires some small cutting to a template, then painting and installing a basic stereo and other components. If I was more confident in my cutting abilities I would do it myself. However, I dont want it to look like *****, so I am looking for someone who does this for a living.
Anybody know of any place around, that is not down in the boro? (someone already suggested a good place in the boro).
Thanks,
Nathan

One of my good friends has been at a very well known audio place for the last 12 yrs. He does the best work I have seen, and he does stuff at his house. PM me if you would like his number.

HIFI Buys FTW
Talk to Scott Comiskey (car bay manager) or Lee Dobson
at Hifibuys. They are certainly capable of doing
anything you'd want done.
They are not the cheapest place(for labor) in town but they will
still be there years from now. They can be extremely competive on
equipment pricing.

The Porsche is the demo vehicle, completely done in-house. Paint and fiberglass work. You can see and hear it any day of the week except Sundays.
Yes I'm biased, I was the sales manager there for many years although I have moved on to bigger and better things.

They CAN BE, but just about any time I have gone in there and tried to get something- they tried to charge me list price. When I told them that so and so has it for X dollars, they just seemed to get mad about it. This goes all the way back to the era that they had the Del Sol for a demo vehicle.

Just got off the phone with Lee Dobson. I happen to mention your name, and that helped. He asked that I swing by today so he can give me a quote.
I dont mind paying good money to have it done perfectly.
i was actually trying last night on an extra template console that I had. I realized that cutting with a dremel is not the way to go. In addition, I simply dont have the patience or time to prep, sand, prep, sand, prep, sand, paint, wet sand, paint, paint, paint, wet sand, clear, clear, clear.
I tried it over the last couple days, and it just didnt come out the way that I want it to. So, it is time to get a pro to do it.
Thanks for the referral.

:(
That still makes me sad. My ninja hookup is gone.
I feel your pain too bro....Tom was great to work with when he was there.
All right, you guys are making me blush.
My regular customers like you guys are about all I miss about retail electronics.
Seriously, go in and see Lee Dobson, he'll still hook you up. I even taught him a few of my mAd sKiLlz.
