does anyone really like the new look of bmw 3 series... :( I do not like it ... I have loved the 3 series, specilly the M3 for many years... now the lines on the car are all jacked up...it looks like a design from toyota or something... one of my favorite all around cars has gone to the pooper...oh well...

All the manufactures seem to be going "a different direction " with the asthetics of the cars... I am hoping that some good designs will come out of the boom.

+1 for older 3 and 5-series cars. I don't like the new ones at all, but am interested in the I-6 turbo powerplants.

Blame Chris Bangle. Everything he's designed so far look worse than what it replaced. BMW is too stubborn to admit they mad any bad decisions, so we'll probably see more of this garbage.

It's a shame. The E90 drives appreciably better than the E46.

Love the new twin turbo 3 coupe. The sedan is too big, but the coupe is  I have my calendar marked to buy a 2007 in 2010.

If I had the cash, I'd give it a run. :)

I like the new 3 series. To be fair I like the previous generation better, but I'm sure this one will grow on me.

On the other hand, I don't like what I see from Mercedes these days- the entry level cars still look ok, but the higher priced they are, the uglier they get:ugh:

well that white one is not stock, but anyways.... still it looks like a cross between an altima and the new lexus IS ... I guess if I was ever in the market for one I would get the pre 2007 M3...

Twin Turbos FTW.

I think the new 335i is super badarse. Good looking, proven chasis, and ample ability for power increases! They're a tad bit heavy for my tastes. I'd probably rather have an E46 M3, but wouldn't turn my nose up at any as long as it wasn't SMG.

<- Needs a manual tranny and clutch to be happy in a performance car.

aaaand room for the baby seat, makes for the ultimate sleeper!

I thought they already fired Chris Bangle??

The 6 is super hot, but I hate the new 3 and 5

I don't find the cars to be horribly disturbing in styling, but they definitely lack the character of the older cars, and I can't help but see a little bit of soy sauce mixed into their new design recipe.
