I may want to put an alarm on the 2002 Denali if I buy it. Where in Nashville is the best place to buy an alarm and have it installed? I want a good alarm, not some cheap crap with gimmicks like LCD remotes and 6-billion remote triggers.
Thanks in advance.

i got a friend that works @ ele.xpress if you want me to check with him ??
You might want to wait, because it might have a simple one already installed.
My 99 Sonoma would go nuts if you locked it (and the horn sounded), then if you unlocked and opened the door from inside. Roll one of the windows down, lock it with the fob, and try that out... it should go crazy.
It doesnt have a bump sensor or glass break sensor or any fancy shiz like that, but is that really required?

The Denali is so huge that I'll probably leave it on the driveway more often than I pull it into the garage except for bad weather. I'd probably want a glass breakage sensor for that alone, just in case some douchebag kids come by and want to use a brick to see what's inside the big truck.

So in bad weather you'll what, pull the Denali in the garage and park the Mach 1 in the driveway???? :eyebrow:

I'm not sure where around town who sells Viper anymore. CarTronics used to, but they lost the right to for some reason. You might want to look on ebay to actually buy the alarm and then find someone local to install it. I would recommend getting remote start and the window control. You'll learn to love it.

I'll make you a great deal on a Mach1 if you want to buy it before tomorrow. :)
I'm getting rid of debt, amigo. That car gets driven 5-10 days a month and amounts to a garage ornament far too much for me to justify continuing to pay for it. Making the move to the Denali instead of the Mach + Truck means I will be debt free except for my home mortgage.
That, FTW.
The perfect car alarm.

I hear that you can buy PacMan for evenings. He'll stand by your car drinking a bottle of Petron straight and throw foo's to the pave'ment for even looking at your Denali funny. :stare:

You could go to HIFI but there are cheaper and just as good options available to you. PM me, my buddy is a WIZARD with alarms/remote starts and has been doing it for 10 years or so....he is the only person that touches my car or family cars...:)
What options do you want it to have...? Shock sensor is a given, do you want the pager remote that pages you if the alarm goes off? Proximity sensor that will chirp the alarm if someone gets too close?? Remote Start?? All things to consider, let me know if I can help.
Plus he also lives in Smyrna and could probably come to your house and do it if he had to or you wanted him to.

I actually have been trained twice.Once in 01 and in 05.They had a seminar over by the airport. You have to be a dei dealer to get invited.

Thanks again, all of you. As I told GS-Turd! on the phone earlier, I want to live with the vehicle for a few weeks as-is before I decide to add an alarm to it or not. :)
