I just thought I'd share with you all this project I am going to undertake tomorrow. My Dad bought me an adapter box that plugs into my factory radio and provides me with two RCA jacks (L and R stereo input.) Unfortunately, it plugs into the jack that is used by my factory CD player. It's a satellite CD player that can either be a 6-disc in trunk or a single disk CD player that fits under the center dash near the cup holders. A tape deck will also fit there.
I want to keep my CD player as well as my AUX input.

Since the plug is a common plug (8 pin DIN) we're going to run a plug from the back of the stereo into a relay and then run both the CD Player and the AUX box into the relays and mount a small toggle switch in my dash. There is a small blank panel near my cruise control button and my rear view mirror button that will be perfect.

I'll be taking pictures of the process and I'll post them tomorrow evening.

The purpose of the auxiliary input is to allow me to connect my Sansa (I-pod).
