Sub box gurus enter please

I have 2 JL 8w0s and I want to make a bandpass box for them... at least i think that's the name forthe style of box. sealed enclosure that the 2 subs fire into with a ported enclosure on the back side of the 2 subs. i had a 12" box like this and it sounded amazing.

if i have the dimensions, can i challenge someone to use their genius-ness and design a box?

specs:
w x h x d
11.75" x 10" x 17.75"
2.5" port

that's the specs for a ported enclosure... requires .75 cu '

it's going in an extended cab of a sonoma... for now.

From owing many JL products (my experience) I wouldn't recommend the W0 for a bandpass enclosure. If you were wanting a ported enclosure I would suggest a slot port. From my personal experience with a 10W6v2 in a slot port it was plenty loud.

Don't put them in a bandpass....all I buy is JL's and I would only recommend either sealed or ported...the performance will be great in a ported. What kind of music do you listen to? PM me and I would be happy to design you a box with a slot port....are you looking to run them off of 1 amp in the same airspace? Do you want the box to be angled at all? I will PM you my phone number if you want to talk in person. I would offer to build it for you but don't have the resources anymore.
