good deal?

Im looking at getting a new system this summer and Ive been browsing some FS threads on other forums and I came across these deals and I wanted to see if these were some good deals:

JL Audio 10w3v3 Brand New Sub. + Brand New in Box JL Audio 500/1 Amplifier for $500 shipped
and the head unit to pair it with would be:
Alpine IVA-W200 w/ PAC Video bypass adapter installed + Double din surround (for IS300) $800
Alpine KCE-422i Full Wire speed Ipod cable $25

Im not sure if I want the Alpine HU simply because of the cost and It think I like the Pioneer AVIC D3. If i go that route then I have to use something else for my ipod integration...

Im thinking about just getting the amp and sub and use the factory head unit since it has a nice 6 cd changer and it already matches all the other guages and I woln't get some punk trying to make a buck breaking into my car. but then I'll have to do some weird AUX/IN ipod integration thing.. I dont know Im not an audio guru but I would like some opinions because I dont think Im ready to throw down that much money on a system right now, but I definitely want some more bass

Call Lee at HiFi before you buy that to see how close he can get to that....He should be able to hook you up....plus they are about to have a customer appreciation sale...10% over their cost or something like that.
