My best on pump gas was:
60': 1.87
1/8: 8.27 @ 84.77MPH
1/4: 12.947 @ 106.73
Took me two runs to get into the 12's on pump, after that I switched to my race gas map and eventually got:
60': 1.81
1/8: 8.03 @ 86.06MPH
1/4: 12.54 @ 109.87MPH
I managed one 1.79 60' but nothing great came of that run.
I had a great time and big thanks to Opie (wrx85) for holding it down for the "Nashville" crew. :D He did hold it down, RIGHT? ;) Of course, thanks to the people that put this event together.

14.58 @ 94 I had 6 runs in arow within .04 of that. No traction issues + automatic = consistant and boring.
I wish the Miata hadn't blown a head gasket. It would have been much more fun and hopefully faster.

With the L, heat was not my friend. Boost never hit over 12lbs (saw 14lbs at US43 w/70 degree weather). Still, it was right where I predicted except for the MPH.
Leslie's car is a monster, and absolutely needs slicks to get time's in the low 12's that the MPH indicates it's capable of. Those little 235 drag radial just couldn't do the job, even launching in second.

I think we got our best runs on that trip for two reasons:
1) After the car caught fire, they cleaned up and resprayed the sticky stuff down.
2) Our cars sat for 20 minutes or so with the hoods up cooling down.
Most of us hot lapped the whole day, so that short break really helped.
Your car looked mean and sounded mean going down the track. As fast as you pulled by me, I felt like a 15sec car.

Her car is running again after about 15 minutes in the garage this afternoon, BTW. The prblem is the CompCams polylock on the roller rockers. This is the second one that has broken on the car. Sounds like a good idea to give CompCams a call and tell them what their hardware is doing. Might get them to change the idea on making a cheap part better in a crucial part of the drivetrain.
Oh yea, I know I told Leslie but if you havn't send Quik a msg. He was asking about the guy who did the bodywork/paint on her car, and that he has a car he wants to get done.
