You can have them made for a lot cheaper. Or better yet do it yourself, it isn't hard to do at all.

I plan on getting a line level converter (LLC) and getting the woofer signal from the rear speakers then just run power from the battery for my amp and be done (in case anyone was wondering...)

i dont know how to do it myself, if anyone here would be interested in building me one let me know. i would rather have the amp on the side and the sub centered

Don't do that. Every stereo that I have heard that uses those never sounds as good or as clean as a set of good RCA cables at least. My :2cents:

As far as the box or the stereo in general?

If it was me I would opt for a nice headunit with a 10' sub and an amp to run it. :2cents:

I just want more bass, I dont want to change out anything in this car. I love the sound of the stock speakers and I just want to add more bass. I want to put something in it that I can easily take out.

This car = not getting fuXed with

If you are just wanting more bass in the car then I would look into something like... http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ZxCwSxJjLrV/cgi-bin/ProdSearch.asp?search=infinity+basslink

Dont I still have to get source for the bass signal and run a power cable to the battery? I mean if I am going to do that same install and pay that kind of money I might as well get what I want

Yeah but the amount of wire needed ( 8gauge as opposed to at least a heavy 4 or 2gauge power wire) is much less since you were wanting to run it off speaker inputs instead of RCAs. You really need to get a new headunit and hook that up right if you are going with a W7. It makes no sense to me to get a top tier sub and amp combo and then cheap out on the signal processing because you will not get the full effect and full value of the money you are spending.

What if I added RCA jacks? then ran those wires to the amp?

I can get this box that will center the sub in the skipass like I originally wanted to and then mount my amp on the side of it (carpeted for $50 shipped). Box dimensions are 16" wide x 13" tall x 7" top depth x 11 5/8" bottom depth. Built using 3/4" MDF cu ft. is .72 before woofer displacement.
It doesnt take up as much space as the others. I am thinking about putting the 10w6v2 in there.

Long time to reply I know, oops. I like that idea of running the wires to make the RCA jacks, do that if anything

As far as the box and everything I would suggest you go down to hi-fi buys and listen to 1 10w6v2 before you decide. I personally had one in a slot ported enclosure and put 500w (100 more than suggested) to it daily and it sounded great and lasted about 4 years. Let me know if you have any more questions and I will try and help.
