I had a good time at Riverfront last night. Met a nice fellow who was a retired Metro codes plumbing inspector. He was there with his wife shooting with a Canon DSLR. He was kind of new to photography and got mostly bright light with smoke, but I'm sending him my pictures so he'll something from the 4th. :)

Here is a teaser and I have better ones, but this is the first to get resized. I took 182 10mp pictures tonight.

These are only resized with PP, so no editing at all has been done to these. They are as shot right out of the camera. The PC screen I'm on now is too jacked up for me to do any editing since everything looks more dark on it.

What kind of pictures do you want to take, price range? Canon and Nikon DSLR's are hard to beat.

Well, my camera would do those things well. You could go Nikon D80 with a 18-135mm kit lens. Or you could go Canon Rebel XTI with a comparable lens. That would get you in the door, but you'd probably want some better lenses later on.

Do a search on google for Canon Digital rebel XTI v/s Nikon D80. It should turn up some good articles with info. ;)

You can snoop around www.nikoncafe.com/forums and a Canon forum for info as well.

Those turned out great! Where were you? I must have been on the same side as you were, but I was further up on the bridge.

I tried looking at the EXIF for the time, but for some reason it's all out of whack. It's showing the wrong date and time. I'll have to fix that asap. :\
