Do they have outages EVERY DAY or what!? Are there people accidentally cutting important cables outside or is someone attacking the service? This junk goes out all the time in the middle of the day and I'll call to check for a recorded message and sure enough they'll be reporting connection issues all over middle Tennessee.

Never have any problems with comcast going out. Thier dvr is a pos and the "on demand" is over hyped and doesn't work some.

Disney is right, your hell bound were you will have to watch reruns of "full house" for eternity:naughty:

They don't cut cables. I'm convinced, they have a full time "service interruption button" pusher. I have had the same problem at every place I've lived in Nashville.

DirecTv is fine for web surfing and email but online games will have you begging for dial up as the lag roasts you. DSL seems to be ok, not great where I am. I don't think that there is a great highspeed connection provider in Mid TN unless your stealing wireless from a neighbor then you can't gripe about what you are paying for. :D

My comcast internet has been going out a lot lately too. I should call and complain and ask for a refund. I pay for a FULL month's service.

Yes, at least they should. You need to make a nuisance out of yourself and actually speak w/ a rep and have them document your acct for these outages. If it is an ongoing issue w/you specifically then they would need to credit you for the entire time you initially complained until the time they came out and resolved the issue. If it is an area outage they would pro-rate your credit for that day/s. If it is an individual channel that you have issues w/, they would pro-rate your svc per channel, per day/s.

Comcast is seriously breakin' my balls here; what's that they say in the commercials? Comcraptastic?

They've been dropping the service, or having "outages", across middle-TN during the day from around 9AM (well, when I wake up) until around 5PM; did it yesterday, today, and at least one day last week, the week before, and so on. It almost seems purposeful since the times they drop out and turn on are very consistent.

If the ****'s out tomorrow I'm calling and finding out why the hell they keep doing this. It's like they cut it on before the bulk of people get home for the day.

My buddy used to call up and get free service when they'd drop out but that was when cable internet was fairly new here; I wonder if they can still be bargained with.

you guys must live over by Blackman. when i lived there, comcast was constantly going out

at my new place over by kohl's though, it hasn't gone out yet

i'd get dsl if they didn't require a landline. comcast is too bloody expensive for the price

I'm off of South Rutherford Blvd. My parents live on your side of town and they have an IP address that starts with 7 I think. Have you used your service during the day? Specifically today or yesterday?

I figure they might have people on different groups of nodes or something and some of us crap out while others don't.
