Is the track open on Friday nites for test and tune and is it worth my time to try street tires on my coupe? if it helps, i am figuring it to be a low 8 second ride, maybe high 7 with tuning and traction.

No, unless you want to race Midnite Madness, but then you don't get a timeslip, and you have to wait til after midnight to start racing. They run TnT on Wed. nights though. Why not just go to the Hill....it's a short drive from here, maybe 30 minutes at the most.

YES YOU CAN get a test and tune during bracket racing on Friday nights. I am not sure what he charges but he runs them after each round of bracket cars. They dont run a Wednesday Test-n-Tune in July and August becuse of heat and lack of participation. I would assume Gleason will be extremely green since this is the first weekend that the track will be open all year. Believe it or not the track in Clarksville has been excellent last few weeks. Since I dont work there anymore Fast89Stang, you wont have to listen to me tell you, "you need a cage in that car".

I heard that Monte has been layin down rubber at gleason, and has already used 2 drums of VHT on the track to get it ready, so it may be good this weekend if you wanna try it.
