It's probably going to run like CRAP on my computer and I refuse to turn off details unless it's FSAA or maybe something like "shadows on grass", heh.

I caved in and bought it off Steam. It's sitting on my computer waiting to be activated tomorrow. I hope it runs good but I'm not getting my hopes up. Toys R Us apparently let the 360 version slip a little early; I think people had it mid-to-late last week.

Been playing this game a bit and so far so good. I'm playing on medium difficulty since I'm kinda lazy but I've found it almost necessary to hack the machines; it's really not too difficult (yet?). If you don't wanna run out of ammo I suggest zapping the machines and hacking them and then of course getting the wankers stirred up so they run out and get shot.

It probably looks better on the PC but you're gonna need something heavy (GeForce 8800) to run it comfortably. It runs decent on my 7900GTX but I need more power!

I recommend it.

just finished playing the demo......nice looking game.....I different plasim effects were pretty good, even though I only had 2.......near the end I was able to lead some into a puddle of water and use my electro plasim to kill 3 enemies at once.

I bought the game on Friday, Its awesome! I killed the first little sister, but have been saving the rest. After saving a few they gave me a present, i got the hypnotize big daddy plasmid. It uses alot of EVE, but you can walk into a room and he clears them out. :stare:

After I was looting that area another Rosie came that I killed but I got killed very shortly after so I didn't see if a Little Sister was with it. I ran back there after reviving but no Little Sister was there so I hope it didn't get killed or run off. :(

After I harvest all the little sisters in a level I only use the big daddy's to kill other splicers. Word to the wise dont throw "enrage" on a big daddy when you are the only one around.

I think the Little Sisters can run away into their holes if they're close enough, maybe that's why I think one disappeared before. I came across another Rosie and the Little Sister kept running into her damn hole; trick is to make sure they're not too close to the hole before you start beating on the Rosie. I've been in the Neptune place forever; I keep looking for extras and I got raped upstairs where there is a frikkin rocket launcher around every corner.

I kept wandering around the area where we fought, and I heard her crying. I looked at the BD corpse and she was there crying. Thats the really cool thing about this game, that there are many ways to take care of enemies. I would much rather save my ammo and let a turret take care of the splicers. Thats why I hack everything. The really funny one I found is that when you hack a health station and a wounded splicer uses one to heal itself, it kills them instead of healing them.

word to the wise, when you find it you must invest in the eletroshock level 3. I just got it a tonight. It cost 150 adam but its well worth it. I killed a BD by just standing in one spot. All you have to do it shock him and he will stand there shaking long enough for you to get at least 2 shots off with the shotgun and then just repeat. Im pretty far in the game and it was the easiest kill I have made on a BD yet. Oh yeah and when you get this far everything you hack for the most part pegs the difficulty meter.

I beat the game and I must say I'm happy with it. I was pleased with the graphics, particularly the water and the character models. I'm glad they limited pre-rendered cut scenes to the game endings and one intro movie; everything else they did real-time.

It ran smooth and looked great at the end:

I just beat the game last night and I have to agree that it was one of the best games I have ever played. I wasnt too empressed with the ending but I think I might have gotten the crappy ending because I killed all the little sisters. I think if I saved them all the ending might have been diffrent.
