Firefox/IE 6.0 help

I like using Firefox and the better half likes IE since that's what she uses at work, so we have both on the computer. My question is for some strange reason, you can bring up IE and then go to a site and instead of IE going to the site, it opens up a new Firefox window with that site in it. What do I need to reset/change so that I can prevent this?

I figured it out.

Here is the answer:

1. Click your Start button, then “Run…”.

2. Type regedit into the box that appears and hit Enter. This will bring up the Registry Editor.

3. Open the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder until you find: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\ {c90250f3-4d7d-4991-9b69-a5c5bc1c2ae6} entry.

4. Right-click Delete the {c90250f3-4d7d-4991-9b69-a5c5bc1c2ae6} entry.

5. Close the Registry Editor - you’re done.
