View Full Version : New monitor, fuzzy?

I got a new ASUS 19"WS monitor. Love the size and all but.... It's just not as sharp as the old 15". It almost looks out of focus. Is it my video card? I tried to focus it with the controls to no avail also.

What resolution?

Try something like 1280x800.

LCDs have whats called native resolution. If it's not run at that resolution, it'll be fuzzy.

Check the instructions for native res, but i bet its 1280x800

I would make sure you set the refresh rate at 60 Hertz. If your old monitor was an LCD it probably is already set at 60, but doesnt hurt to check.
