I know it's been a while since I've put some pics up of the car but it just got out of the shop since December last year.

nice looking cars!
Thanks! I could have done a little more under the hood as far as hiding the wires and such but, I was too lazy. BTW thanks to Delk Performance for building the new motor for me, runs fantastic! It feels faster than the old 302 with heads, cam, intake, full exhaust, and a 100 shot on it.

Looks real good man! Post some details on the SN..It's a 1998 Cobra, just has a few bolt on's like o/r h-pipe, flowmasters, and 4.10 gear. Next year I'm going to be buying parts for this car. We're going to try to get 500 on the ground for this one as well.

418 c.i. Windsor
AFR 225 heads
60 lb. injectors
Custom Cam from Comp Cams
Adjustable Timing Belt
Meziere electric water pump
2 in. primary headers w/3.5" collector
Full 3" exhaust with hooker Aero Chambers (unbelievably quiet)
Should be putting down close to 500 rwhp hopefully we can get it dynoed next weekend and see what this thing is actually doing.
Wow, the fox is a straight sleeper. Me likey alot.

I was thinking "nice Mustang" until I saw this post. Sounds like a killer setup for a Fox.

I haven't really got into it yet, it only has 500 miles on the motor. Even right now it seems deceptively quick. I mean it feels kind of fast but not really, but then you look at the speedometer and it's like  .

I appreciate the kind comments everyone! Hopefully I'll get to run in the Wild Street class at the NMRA in Bowling Green. Although, I probably need to hit up a track before then just to have a few shakedown passes under my belt before then.

I got to check this car out last Saturday-
Its a SUPER clean car, and a ballbuster to ride in (at just 1/4 to 1/2 throttle).
Love the car, man!

Looks good! Do you have all the safety requirements done to pass tech in BG? I'm hoping to run mine up there too but it is not looking too promising on getting it ready in time.

No, not even close. From my understanding they'll let you through tech, but say if I were to run faster than 11.49 they would probably dq the runs. So I figure I could just take it easy the first two passes then on the last run, be a little more aggressive. If they disqualify the runs oh well, it's all about having a good time anyway.

Yeah I think so too. I'm refinishing some Simmons FR 17's for the car this fall, I think they're 17 x 9 and 17 x 11. So it'll look pretty good too.

Sounds like a pretty serious setup man. A guy I know has a stroker 351 in a 1st gen Lightening with dual stage NX and even on motor, it's a mean SOB! I wish it was that easy to make 500 hp naturally aspriated with the DOHC Cobra motors!

All I Have to say is holy #$%&... Thanks for the ride in her bro, even though you couldn't get on her to much at all she still felt quicker then my 03 cobra... I know after the tuning is done, she'll be just stupid mean! Maybe some time this year I"ll get mine running again and be able to at least smell your exhaust if you don't run off to quick where that's not even present :p

That Fox is almost exactly what I want to do with mine, except much darker with a very dark green or black, and different wheels. How were you able to keep the stock hood?

That Fox is almost exactly what I want to do with mine, except much darker with a very dark green or black, and different wheels. How were you able to keep the stock hood?We placed a 3/8" spacer between the K-member and the frame rails, milled about .200" off of the aluminum upper, and cut the solid motor mounts about 1/2". I also used these fuel injectors from Vortech which are about 1/2 the length of a standard Ford injector. Not necessarily in that order though.

That combo is awesome.. I'm glad you finally got it together. I want a big Windsor too :(I'm really enjoying this thing right now. It's still really easy to drive around town too. Although I am going to have to get a bigger alternator, the old stock style isn't cutting it right now especially when just cruising around town with the water pump, fan, and headlights going full blast.

Ideally I'd just stick an EFI 460ci Man o War Windsor stroker in mine, but realistically, something like you've done is probably what I'll end up doing.

I probably won't get it hooked back up until sunday, and then I won't get to do any tuning on it until next weekend. I think there's a few of us going to Huntsville the first or second weekend in November. I've never run at Crossville before but it sounds like I'm going to have to make a trip up there.
