Over the last few years Ive aquired alot of OEM 93 cobra parts and the majority made it on the coupe. I never found the upper intake, well except for the cheapy chinese ones, so I used the explorer upper. Well I finally found and original 93 upper for $105 and snatched it up but it was minus the cobra decal. For the last 2-3 days I bet Ive emailed every major vendor I could think of that might have it, just to find out that they were discontinued and apparently every single leftover already had a home. After a few calls, I found a guy, locally (believe it or not...I was shocked), that had ONE. So, as bad as I hated to pay it, I did. Im somewhat afraid to take it out of the package now. I really really really hate discontinued stuff. They do it to make us squirm...dont they?

I know how you feel. Try finding rubber door seals for a turbo Mopar.

not even. They were disc'd just 2-3 months ago. I found that out from CJ Pony Parts.

Sounds like trying to find parts for the 89-95 Thunderbird SC, mostly the sorry M5R2 5spd tranny that had parts specific for it and not the Ranger/F-150 tranny. OH well, the cars we love and the stuff we will/would do for them to make it right....

Sounds like my F-150. My fuel selector valve isn't working properly and I cannot locate a factory replacement for it.:wall: My only options are creatively engineer and aftermarket one in place or dismantle and hope that I can repair the existing one...:\

I had the same problem trying to find a throttle cable for a 96-98 Cobra. Ended up having to get an aftermarket POS from Lokar.

Has anyone compared the new chinese manifold to the old Cobra one? I know the new one has more casting flash (like the Typhoon) but what else is different?

You'll never catch me with one of those knockoff pieces of **** on my car.

Whats new, I'll probably be sticking a TFS top end on my car but I was curious about the new Cobra manifold. I think the Typhoons do well if you take a roll to them and clean them up.
