Well, Mike busted his ass last night installing the Steeda front drag springs. I must say they were a PITA...he probably will too. Thanks Mike for making good on the "free install" I won at Tennesspeed day.
Saturday, my buddy Coach and Brian(2000AtlanticGT) installed the rear drag springs, rear Tikico Illumina 5-way shocks, and poly motor mounts. Cant wait to get to the track!

We definitely need to head up to the track in the near future, Bowling Green preferably.

not sure what i have going on that far out but i'll keep it on the radar. i'm sure i'll hit the hill up a time or two before then. all i have to do know is get the bottle filled up, put the skinnies and fat boys back on an go! Another buddy of mine just bought a 1993 white fox gt. his getting Delk to install a 4.10 gear in it. He is installing a NOS wet 100 shot to wake it up some. It's an automatic car. we'll see about that one.

I'm sure I'll go before then too. But figure some of your best runs of the year will be in November so thats why its good for all of us to plan ahead and get it on the schedule:D

They were a total PITA.

After 5 or 6 sets you'll figure out how to make it easy. I did probably 30 sets when I worked at Delk. I could do all 4 in about 1 hour now and barely break a sweat.

I don't think I could explain it here. It's something I would need to show you in person. Basically, seperate the bottom of the strut from the spindle (21mm and 18mm I think), pull the caliper (15mm) pull the abs sensor wire from it's bracket to give it slack. Unhook the tie rod and the sway bar (both 15mm). Drop the a-arm, pull the spring, replace it and put it back together. If you try to unbolt the a-arm from the k-member it's much tougher. Pulling the ball joint loose or pulling the strut at the top don't work well either.
That's how I originally was intending to do it. We went by the manual Keith brought instead.

Cool setup, Keith. Mike, you should have asked some questions before going by the manual. :teehee:
