I got this in an e-mail:
"Comcast is upgrading the Personal Web Pages product to include up to 40 times more online storage than before! As part of the product upgrade, your online storage will automatically increase from 25 MB up to 1,000 MB per Comcast.net e-mail address - that's a full gigabyte - at no additional cost. And if you have opened secondary Comcast.net e-mail addresses for your account you will get 1 GB of online storage for each of them."

I was hoping the answer was...

"Comcast bought out by company that actually gives a crap about what it's customer's think! More at 11!!!!"

I don't use ISP email addresses - they are too prone to change.

there are programs that will allow you to utilize your gmail space as regular old FTP space .... i tried it once, but my connection at home was too slow to make it worth it

however, at least comcast is finally giving people something worthwhile :)

I tried it, and gmail locked my account for suspicious activity. Its against their EULA :(

It unlocked itself in 30 minutes though.

well i guess if you have nothing else. i pay like a few bucks a month for 10 gig of space out on the net with unlimited URL's. id rather have my own domain than saying, comcast.net/~bowlcut/ or something of the sorts. i dont know what it is actually.

email...in this day and age i dont understand why its amazing for people to get over 100meg of email space. cause with gmail you are near 3gig already. yahoo has said unlimited email. its funny. at work they keep clamping down. im down to like 90meg of space on my exchange server. it makes no sense, space is cheap. i mean i know exchange well enough that it sucks when its big. then if i had to guess...they are starting to pull people down so they can move the mail boxes to another box or something.... but company of like 60k. sure if everyone had 1gig of space it would be a nightmare to manage. but come on...grrr

email pisses me off.

tho now i use gmail almost all the time. as much as i hate sticking everything with one company. but google seemes to live by their motto most the time...do no evil
