been using FF since it came out on my old machine without issue. got a new machine at work and recently installed FF (2.0.0.7 ... which I also had on my old machine).

now for some reason, FF is not saving my login information for any message boards. whenever I close the browser and reopen a new session, I'll have to log back in to all the sites I visit regularly.

I don't use any FF add-ons, all the settings are left in their defaults, and it looks like cookies are being saved normally. I've uninstalled FF completely and reinstalled it twice with the same results.

any idea what's going on? is this a FF issue or user settings on my comp? IE7 appears to be saving and recognizing my login info on the new machine, so I'm stumped as to why FF isn't.

clear cache. It will start working again.

good call, david. that appears to be the problem. I don't recall un-checking the box... :squint::squint:

What if I don't want it to memorize my passwords? can I just have it save my login names?
