WTF!!!!!!! :reef: :livid:

I have a new 60gig PS3 hooked up to a Sanyo 42" Plasma HDTV through the Sony DLC-HD20P HDMI cable (says for PS3 on box) and all I get is sound, no video?

Why would this Sony HDMI cable not work? The damn RCA junk works, but the HDMI won't. :rant2:

Couple of factors in this one.
1. How long is your HDMI cable?
2. Have you tried holding down the power button for like 5 more seconds after the first beep? (it adjusts to your relative nativity of your monitor/tv)

If there are any other things let me know and I'll try to help you best I can.

The cable is 6.5ft. Does it have anything to do with the cable being a V1.3?

I thought my TV or the PS3 was screwed up.

All I got to say is, even DVD's look better now. I can't wait to get some new Blueray movies!

I got a rebate thingy for 5 free Blueray movies I'm going to send off for asap, too. :D

If you would have bought a xbox360 you wouldn't of had that problem ;)

I wanted the PS3 because it was a blueray player most of all, but secondly for the games. I can still play my old PS2 games on this thing and get the new junk that's out. :-p

Best Buy is having a deal this week, for about 14 different Blu-Ray Titles, and some of them pretty good, if you buy one you get one free.

I picked up 4 more BDs over the weekend.

Edit, Target and Circuit City are apparently having a deal like this too with different movies this week too. Great weak to pick up some flicks on the cheap.
