I'm still testing out the new camera I got for Christmas. To say the least, I am very happy with the results. Here are just a few of the attempts to take pictures. Comments welcome :)

Good deal man, what camera did you get? Any other gear to go with it? It sure is a fun and rewarding hobby progressing along the way.

Keep in mind this is constructive criticism and when I look at pictures I try to point out the good and the bad.

First and foremost when posting multiple pictures try to number them so its easier to point out which ones are good or bad without having to count each picture. Its just a common courtesy thing.

1 is a cool idea, with a little tweaking on your angle and depth of field it could be a very nice shot.

2 and 3 are clear pictures but nothing that really grabs your attention.

4 is a really cool shot. Great concept and with a little better execution (tripod for more steady shots in dark and low light situations) and a little work it would be awesome.

5 and 6 are nice and the best shots of the bunch. Nice IS by the way.

Thanks for the comments. Yea sorry I forgot to number them. The camera I got was a Fujifilm S700. I have been playing around with the settings. Hence, the pictures I took of my IS were from tonight and those first pictures were the day I got it. I can't wait to try a few shots of things around here on campus.

Actually, I've been meaning to make my way over to that place. While there are quite a few girls here at Queens (73%)...there can never be enough right? :D

Nice pictures. I especially like the one of the Studebaker that will be yours someday. Drop a Supra TT engine in it and you'll be set. :)

On those pics, whats the quality settin on the camera set at? Seems low. Iwould turn the flash off on the pool picture and try to get more over head lighting.

The first couple were taken at 2MP. The last two were taken at 7MP. Thanks for the advice. We have a pool table here and I may try to retake that shot.
