Well, I've been anxiously awaiting the XTi's replacement. Rumors were it was supposed to be released at the end of this month, everything I can find points to it shipping in April now...:( I don't really have a need for this camera, I'm just hoping the prices will see a little more of a drop for the XTi. Although, I think I've waited this out for about as long as I can!:D

Anywho, just thought I would post a few links about it since I haven't seen anyone else post about it and I've just about exhausted any effort of finding an actual release date.

you can get a 30D for a good price now. I'd take that over the XTI if the prices are pretty close.

^ In that class, get the 40D or go home. ;)

I got the 30D and didn't go home. I'd rather have a 1D Mark 2n over the 40D--'bout the same price. Stick to NoiseKons. I'll take care of the Canon stuff:-p

Unless the price drops w/ the release of the XSi the price between the 30D and XTi is not close enough for me. The XSi and 30D would be more in line as far as prices...:(

No thanks. I'll stick to Nikon. ;)

For what I do, noise isn't a problem because 98% of my pictures are set at ISO 100.

I'm too much of a scaredy-cat to purchase stuff like that used. That is just me though, I always got teh bad luck with that stuff.

Heck yeahs! Well, at least I think so. I've made a few posts of pics I've taken but nobody really cared. I posted some pics I took of flying M's FD and some other miscellaneous stuff. I took them with just a P&S and usually don't have time to bother with processing. As soon as I am done with this whole 2 job thing I'm going to spend a lot (ok, really just a little...) more time doing the stuff I don't have the time for now. I've still got my SLR camera that I haven't touched in years. It got too expensive to experiment with film!
