No, it took place. It started to rain after the racing was complete, and the car show awards were being passed out.

well damn, how did it go? was it a big turn out?The weather really held a lot of people from coming, but we did the event anyways. No rain until after 2:00pm..Attendance ended up being about half of last years event, but was still a success

I heard there was hardly anyone there. That was according to the guys here at the fire station across the street from the track, which is the one I work at. I asked the guys that were on shift yesterday about it, and they said it looked like there were only 25 or so cars racing......but I didn't put much faith into that since none of them are really into racing. lol

I asked the guys that were on shift yesterday about it, and they said it looked like there were only 25 or so cars racing......but I didn't put much faith into that since none of them are really into racing. lolYep if compared to last year, that's about true..Only 25 guys actually racing, but we still payout to the winners..Car show ended up with 52 rides, but considering the unfavorable weather conditions, can't complain. At least we generated enough where I didn't have to pay for the track out of my pocket..

Not bad for the colder temp's...The King of Street winner was in the low 6's in a 90 GT.. A couple of the Outlaw guys hit 5's, I believe..
