Just a quick test to figure out how to do it. Focussing is hard as evidenced by some of these. Gonna try again to see if I can improve. Enjoy

Nice man, not crazy about the border (that glossy outside black is whats bothering me) but that aside it's a nice set. Only thing I'd like to see that I don't is a more true/deep blue smoke effect, but I'm still digging these. Where did you locate the off camera flash and how big was the umbrella? Seems to help with the focus you could just stop down the lens to bring it all into focus?

Care to tell me a little about the ebay triggers? Lets say I have three Nikon SB-28s (similar to your 430ex), what triggers would I need to use those three flashes off-camera? How many channels, or would I need a trigger for each? Any certain trigger better than the other? I've got one SB-28 on the way for portrait work, looking into getting a few more for a three light automotive setup. Just need to know how to trigger all of them.
And what is Dury's? Local photo shop? Where about? I'd like to drop by sometime if that is indeed what it is.
Side note: You've got a grip right? Can you use a tripod quick release with your grip?

actually I think I got the ebay triggers here: http://www.gadgetinfinity.com/home.php
Get the 4 channel wireless V2 kit and then 2 extra receivers for your 2nd and 3rd flashes. (might want to check the Noink forums to make sure they are compatable. I know there are problems with Sigma flashes and some others) Then you'll need 3 umbrella stands with brackets. You can buy those on ebay too, but I went to Dury's(it's downtown) so I could make sure I got what I needed.
My grip has the exact same threading as without the grip, so yes, if you can mount your QR to your camera, you can mount it to your grip.

Josh,
Doesn't the D80 have the built-in wireless flash commander (flash trigger)? I don't know which of the Nikon flashes it will control, but it might be something to check out before you buy any flashes or triggers. I'm not that familiar with Nikon, but just a thought.
And yes, you can use the grip with the quick release plate for your tripod.
