I know a lot of people don't like this show but even though you sometimes have to weed through some crap, overall it's not too bad. I hear Alloway's is going to have some cars there. Who on here is going to be there: ABMresto, GarageLogic, GLH, Lightning ??????

If anyone can get a shot of someone flashing the "shocker" in front of the Great Pink One (don't have to show faces) post it up!!!! It's almost guaranteed to be there.......

I won't be in it. I may enter in it next year though. The Lightning needs a paint job first :D

I don't reckon I'll go. I went back in 2001 and promised I'd never go back. Roughly 75% of the cars weren't anything I'd be interested in looking at.

I've had my car in it the last few years, but got a little tired of it. I didn't want mine to become one of "those same ol' cars" that are there every year(Pink Panther, etc).

Forget the shocker..someone holding a sign in front of the pink turd reading "gheyest car evar" , maybe with a Tennesspeed logo on the sign too, would get uber props.

Not to mention that those cars have been in that show since it's conception.

If I would have read this before I went I would have got a picture with someone putting the Shocker to the Pink Panther ride. It was there as always.

I went sunday and liked it. The ricers were there of course, but they were easily avoided and there were some cool cars at the show.

I went in 2001 and there were too many ricers, this year had less ricers, but still had too many cars that are NOT show cars. There was a Mustang with just wheels, a roush Intake, and a Ford Racing Strut Brace. You can buy a more modded Mustang from Alexander Ford. That doesn't belong at a car show especially behind a Blow small block corvette which is what I believe it was behind.

One of my favorite cars was a 51 Ford F100 with a 460BB in it, Twin Turbocharged and Nitrous on it. The Truck was gorgeous on the outside and showed no signs of having that engine under the hood. It did not even have huge tires out back, and it was a shock to see the engine bay. It was also cool to hear that it was a truck that had been in their family since the 50's. Of course next to that truck was car that the owner had no idea if his car had the original engine in it or not.

Its like any show these days, you try to ignore the bad and focus on the good. Really try to IGNORE the Shelby Cobra with 20's or 22's that looked like CRAP and the owner fumeing over everybody walking by saying it looked like crap.

I don't know if not, I was too busy trying to get away from him and his POS car. He just had a look on his face of shock and it did look like he was not happy with the comments he was getting.
