Is Wolf Camera the only local photography shop that has equipment?

Do you have to have a local place? There's Drury's, but I can't remember the address... Please stay away from Wolf Camera, unless you want generalized answers and vague responses from the staff of 16 year olds that works there with zero experience in anything more than flatbed scanning.
If looking for advice in person - check Drury's, and then go online.

Dury's is the best, but I never shop local. Too expensive

I shop online for just about all my purchases, but was just wondering if there was a place other then wolf that had equipment. So I guess no good places to look for new or used wide lens , fisheye lens, flashes, remotes, bags/case etc.

for used I use www.photography-on-the.net (canon). they are also great for reviews and examples of shots with different lenses. There are also a ton of places that rent lenses if you just want to try something before you buy, but I've found that the depreciation on lenses is almost nil. I just buy used and then if I don't like, I sell for the same price most times. I'm a gear head first and a photographer second, so if you are looking for something in particular, odds are I;ve checked it out. Lemme know

If you want a bag I'd recommend going to Dury's and checking out what they have seeing it physically then going online to get it. I did that with my Tamrac Adventure 7. I love it. It does exactly what I want with it.

Lemme know yeah I have no problem buying used, I am wanting to pick up a 50mm f/ 1.4 or 1.8 for nikon, not really sure . I would like it for low light, subject isolation shots with good bokeh. I am going to get tokina 11mm-16mm when it is released later this year and find it on the used market, also maybe a used nikon 10.5mm 2.8 Fisheye . Have you shot with a 50mm, have any examples?

yeah that is exactly what I want to do, is see it in person for the size. I want something slim that will incase the camera with lens attatched. I was looking at the lowepro aw200 slingshot. I seen it online, anyone know this bag/pack? I like that it is more of a back pack type and not a bulky bag. I am not set on this one, still looking at all the options. thanks

I don't know, I may have to check that out. I have a hard time believing they could do better then internet prices on anything. I thought there would be some shops around here that maybe I did not know of. I guess it is all internet for me , or wait until I go out of town.

I had thought about the Lowepro AW200 slingshot but with it not having two straps if I went anywhere that would be uncomforable to me.

I've got the AW200. It's a pretty good bag. Now that I've got the 70-200, it's going to take some re-arranging to get everything in there. No way will the camera fit with that lens attached (and use the quick reach function).
If anyone wants to check it out, just let me know.
