Since I passed my qualifying exams, and I know I'll be here for several more years before I finish the degree (If I can find a job I'll stay perm), the wife and I are looking to buy a house. Therefore, I must decrease the old debt/income ratio.

I'm considering selling my mustang ($380 mth) and purchasing an older fox body. I love the power of car, but I have voidingwarrantyaffobia, and with the move I could lose my monthly payments.

Since I haven't driven a fox in years, I hope I won't find this a painful/regrettable decision....

Probably won't be able to sell it even if I want to, but I wanted to get opinions from the mustang crowd before I put it in the paper/craigslist.

and yes....I am partial to fords (for family reasons)...

Take the time to find a clean fox, and also buy a beater.

Keep the 07, work on paying it off, and drive it for 300,000 miles. It's reliable, clean, and with warranty. In and work/school situation, I would want the newer car. :)

the fox isnt going to ride near as good as that 07,just try to find one low in miles and not beaten on.

yeah true cause when the older car breaks down your cash flow won't be able to fix it.

I'm kind of partial to the fox body. Plus, who buys a Mustang for the ride quality anyway. There are some good deals popping up every now and then on foxes, you just have to keep your eye out for them.
