Is it just me or does the steering look vague? He seems to turn the wheel and the car doesn't do anything but make more tire noise. Still a fast lap. One of those places every car guy should visit once.

Im pretty sure he's on whatever BS tires come with the car from the factory, probably some goodyear rs-a's or something :lol:

He was running the balls off the car. pretty on edge more than a few times. Thats fast. And short shifting, I saw mostly 6300, which is no where close to full tilt boogie. Looks crazy

The sound alone is enough to make you choose the Vette.... :faint:

So if I understand what they've done here correctly, then they're saying that the Vette crew started their timer .4 seconds after the Nissan crew. So the time would be 7:26:8 instead of 7:26:4. Wooptie-doo! It's still a LONG way ahead of the GTR.

This screenshot says it all, on the last straight the Vette is WAAAAY ahead!

the thing i never understood about the ring being the "benchmark" is there's SO much room for error/improvement, it's such a big track that the driver could easily lose a second here and there, making it hard to have an accurate comparison of both cars.

a smaller track with a couple straights would be better i think, at least more accurate?

It is a damn good looking car. Looks just like the base C6 and Z06 with minor appearance changes. I also think the GT-R looks good, a lot better in person than any picture I have ever seen of it.
