Was out on the job today and noticed a charcoal colored mustang lowered with blackout taillights driving like a madman swerving in and out of lanes. It had an intercooler but was very quiet. I ended up catching him at the light and asked him what it had. He said it was turbo making over 800rwhp. I didnt believe him until he took off like crazy laughing and it looked like it would move pretty well. Very young looking guy in that car I was suprised to say the least. LOL I hope he doesnt drive like that everywhere or it wont be lasting too long. Sweet ride though. Can anyone confirm his claims of 800+rwhp? Is he on this board?

SN95 New Edge car, dark shadow gray with Hellion sticker on the back glass? I've seen this guy on I-24 several times in the mornings and he cuts in and out of traffic like a complete douchebag. One of these days I'll cut in front of him in the F250 and get a new bed out of the deal.

DOH!!! I know who you are talking about now. I should have read before replying. The Hellion car is a Dark Grey. Guy I was talking about had a big PTK kit (GT42 turbo I think). But now that I htink about it... I'm pretty sure he sold off all his stuff before he moved to Smyrna......

I will PM him and find out.

There is no ****ing way that car is or ever will be 800hp. He didn't even make 500 with a Vortech.

This was 2 days ago on SVTP.

I am really anxious to get my car tuned and take it to the 1/4 mile. Only problem is that my 60ft is going to suck bad. I already know ill probably be running 2.2-2.0 60ft's. Would I still be able to hit 11's like that? Mods in sig hoping for at least 450whp on stock gears, full weight, and street tires when I take it out there. I can drive it good, but its no auto...

Yeah that's the car and it all makes sense now that I know who it is. I'd like to put him into the dividing wall on I-24 after having watched him weave in and out of traffic with complete disregard for anyone else's safety.

i put a fender or so on him with a untuned 150 shot. my mods are CAI, throttle body ,upper plenum and 4:10's. But he was on "low boost" that night.

The car is setup for road racing so it does kill the 1/4 mile performance. On a dyno it's almost scary, you can watch the car flex, and it does have all the subframe connectors, roll cage, etc........

It will go more than 980... They had to detune it because if you went over 1000 in the KOS they would disqualify you. It also has a "road racing" suspension so it is not the best set up for drag racing. THe car was built at MPH in ALT.

When I talked to them at the world finals they detuned it to like 928 to get numbers for the show since it maxed out the 1000rwhp dyno. Street tune is 650 at 13psi or 700 at 16 psi both with only 15* timing. Race tune is 1089 at 24psi and only 20* timing. Next year they will have a dyno that can read 1k+ for the Nitto KOTS.

I scared the piss out of this fellow a few weeks back on I-24. He tried the multi lane, pass on the right, fly by at speed on a couple cars only to find me a few car lengths in front of a tractor trailer in the right lane. Some days I love this Crown Vic.
