Post co-worker's birthday cake coma enduced questions:

2003/04 Mach 1 + blower.

2005+ GT + blower.

Also, which can handle the power adder more reliably? Is one superior up top vs down low? (rpm & speed).

I think the GT is a bit heavier, so I assume the Mach 1 wins.

Driver's race. Neither can handle alot of boost.

The internals otherwise I would Have a big turbo setup on my car already. Gt's are slower than mach 1's

Yep. Internals on the GT and Mach 1's are cast hyper eutectic pistons. I think around 400HP is the limit before they start crapping parts.

I have had both, the 05 GT had quicker et's, mach 1 more mph in 1/4, and several push 500 hp on stock internals on teh 3v, im not sure the 4v will hold that much, both are pretty weaksauch piston, rod, and valve spring wise.

Depends on what blower they both have and how hard they run them.

Depends some on gearing and tires as well. If I were to bet (assuming similar stock high (numerically low) gearing I think my money would be on the mach (though this is 100% speculation)
