What will a 351 block hold ???

well tuned I have seen them go 750+ fwhp all day long. But you should know this... I say don't put the blower on... it will be too much for u. sell it to me :)

Generally 1000 on a well prepped stock 351W block.

351w dont split.. usually they push the crank out the bottom

good tune and rpms are everything to keeping it alive


fwiw my buddy took a stock bottom end 95 lightning with hyper pistons and ran 6.71 and 10.79 in 1/4 he pushed 550 rwhp thru a E4OD

A friend of mine cracked his 69 block between the mains and cam bearings. It made 881rwhp with a heavy dose of N2O.

my former buisness partner just cracked his through the main webbing spinning an 84 block to 6500 with about ???hp, but it ran 6 tens all day on motor. it lasted about three months worth of bracket racing in florida.

It's all in the RPM. If you keep the RPM's under 6K, I'd say it can support a pretty high amount of HP. As evidenced above, if you spin it too high, too long, something is going to give.

I made 650RWHP and 711RWTQ for 3 or 4 years or about 350passes
With the stock short block. under 6500RPMs with 15 to 20LB of turbo boost.

I thought i was running against a 200 shot or so, but with the supercharger i know youll have more than that. Since your car is about 1000 #'s lighter, if you lose just let dan drive:lol:.

Well my car made a few passes and from what i can tell a 125 will do it blew the clutch out in 3 rolled thru 7.36 @ 101 mph
