We have this set up in our car now. We sent an 8.8 housing directly to Moser. Had them laser align the housing with the ends so as you have no deflection on the axles when in installed in the housing. And then just got the axle set up from them as well.

There are two ways to do it. You can use big bearing 9" ends with the typical 9" flange pattern, but then you use brakes for a 9". Moser and strange have a housing end that accepts a 9" bearing, but has the flange pattern for 8.8 brakes. Both work well, just two different brake options. http://www.strangeengineering.net/catalog/090.html

Matt at Delk is running the the 8.8 pattern 9" ends IIRC and he had them welded on locally. You might want to call Delk, they probably know someone that can do it locally.

If you've got money to spend and want top notch work send it to Team Z. http://www.teamzmotorsports.net/differential.html#rear_ends He can build an almost bulletproof 8.8 housing. New tubes welded in, any ends that you want, precision aligned and then he heat treats the whole rearend.

X2 on the TeamZ stuff... I just got a set of lowers from them and may get their anti-roll bar too.

It looks like keeping the disc brakes is going to be a pain. The brackets have to be machined and spacers made. I am going to have to rethink. Maybe I will just switch to Fox drums and simplfy it all.
