LOL...as funny as it seems, when I got my approval letter I got excited too. I was even more excited when it came in on Fri, and the car was actually able to go pick it up in person, then i got to show it off ALOT while stalling and boggin at the track lol. Who woulda thought somethin as simple as a vanity plate could bring so much joy!

Impressive! I know of at least 3 SRTs in the Nashville area putting down over 800rwhp. Stock '08 SRTs are around 520rwhp/490rwtq.

with a curb weight of 4091lbs (Charger), 4160bs (300c), 4250lbs (Magnum), 4819lbs (Cherokee), etc... depending on which dumptruck you choose.

Not hating, I love the looks of them, I just wish they'd either lighten them up or install a blower at the factory.

How much does the Viper SRT-10 weigh. I think that is what he was refering to.

There are more than just SRT Vipers. There are a few juiced and supercharged SRT's of other flavors around. But nice tag its a fun way to dress up your car or truck.

chances he'll EVER encounter any of the 800hp SRTs...slim to none compared to all the neons, jeeps and chargers around.

What was the turn around time from request, till you got the new tag?

Month maybe? It may have taken a little longer. I got the approval letter quick, but the tag itself took a while.

The unique thing about most of the SRT's is that they are full size go-fast cars/SUVs that give people options beyond the standard fair and they cost $40K with every option.

I can, for example, take my 5,000lbs vehicle and load the entire family with luggage and a bike rack and still turn a sub 5.0 sec 0-60, get to the track, unload the gear, set up the tent, hook up the N20 and run 11 sec 1/4's on street tires, pump gas, have 50 people come ask me what the heck I'm driving and watch them take countless phone pics, load everything back up and continue on my family vacation...

Not many vehicles in that segment...just enough for us "tools" that drive them I guess.

BTW - I like the license plate. To the point and you don't have any excuses.

easy my friend, I didn't say every SRT8 driver was a tool, I said every tool with an SRT8. Tools come in all makes and models. Around here they are mostly in Volkswagens.
