Twin-turbo Ford GT (No, not Joe's)

Good grief that is a beautiful car!

With that kind of money spent, you think they could afford a decent tranny! Sounds like that one is all messed up...

Watch the very end for a quick shot of the super-clean setup. I like the turbo placement too.

It seems like a weird place to put the compressor inlets. I always thought the back of the car was a low pressure area. Added to that the screen is to extract heat from the engine compartment. Hot, low pressure air is not good. The vid said it has a straight cut gear trans in it. They make some noise.

I love Ford GT's...Ford really hit the nail on the head when they built it. Regardless of how well everyone says they are unreliable, I would love to have one someday.

They are very reliable otherwise they wouldn't have put that engine in the gt500. I really want to drive a stock ford gt.

For the turbo placement, I guess I should've been more clear in the sense that I like the 'look' of the placement. Though you may be correct in that it is not the most 'efficient' placement. However, this particular setup may overcome any shortcomings that may be present in a lesser car.

And I was being facetious about the tranny, hence the smilies, but I know sarcasm never reads well over the internet...

But you still have to admit, that is one badass ride!

That's sick! I wish I had the bank to buy one and mod it like that.
