    Running on corn!.

I been working on switching my carb over to e85 and I finally got it completed this week. I redid the fuel system with an A1000 and a carb bypass regulator. It already has quicker throttle response and I like how it smells

The setup wasnt too far off from what I had it running on race gas, but I really need to get a WB to confirm.

Does it smell like corn fritters from Sirloin Stockade?

Now all you need to do, is get someone in Bowling Green Ky to sell it. It is some good stuff!!! Too bad there are not many new stations going in Ky or western Tn.

I like the smell my car has at idle also as it is rich so the smell is even more prominent too.

Anyways Rocket Brand has some E-85 race fuel rated at like 112 octane. I am tempted to get some so it is more consistent for race days as the ethanol can vary from the time of year you buy it. If anyone else might be interested let me know on here as the shipping is cheaper per 55g drum the more you buy. Oh and it is 330 plus shipping like a month ago.

Or you can take a 55 gallon drum and fill it for $2.40/gal and it will stay consistent. Plus save $200 a barrel.

Muuuhhhhaaaa. I drove this thing around all day in city traffic, idles good, part throttle needs some attention and never got above 180*. WFO she still abuses the DR's (the spool gets your attention in a hurry) Ive got a wideband commander coming so I should be able to supertune this beotch! Oh yea, I filled her up for $21.50.

OK, I took it to BG last night and got two runs in before the rains came. My first pass off the trailer I ran within a tenth of what my best was on gas. I swapped out some airbleeds (was still running the ones calibrated for gas), and ran 1.5 mph faster than my best gas pass ever. The et was off because I had a transbrake/operator issue at the starting line.

This is still new to me and Im still and the upward slope of the learning curve, Im still running the timing like it was gas and trying to figure if its gonna run best with power valves or without.

I feel like its got a lot more in it once the tune is on, and filling it up for 2.19/gal and being able to cruise in traffic without coming close to over heating is a pleasant bonus.

Now we need a station in Bowling Green to sell E85. Glad you are getting it dialed in. It is great stuff for high compression and boost.
