Is there a replacement strut tower brace that could be installed to tie back to the firewall or something?
The sun will rise tomorrow. It is your attendance of that event that is uncertain.

He has one that is no where near as nice as what was on there pre-maggie.

It honestly took away from the look of the car and was a little "gimmicky" looking compared to the rest of the engine bay. We're thinking of either:

    a) modifying the original one to fit
    b) making a new one in house

We'll see what he wants to do.

Sounds really good. Are you running the "stock" pulley that came with the Maggie kit?

Also, did you do anything to the bottom end, or is it still stock?

To get the cam installed, which sounds like an agressive setup, did you have to install or upgrade anything else?

I definitely cant wait to see the dyno results. Keep us updated!!

It's the stock 2.8(6psi) pulley. With the exhaust on the car It should be making about 5psi.

The cam required upgraded upgraded springs and pushrods, but is otherwise stock internals and stock bottom end.

Other upgrades were a kenne bell boost a pump over the Maggie supplied magnavolt.

Also added a drive by wire 90 mm throttle body.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking into CTS-Vs for sometime, and going the maggie route would be a preference of mine. I am curious to see the results.

Its really not aggressive at all, very very easily daily drivable. I think the specs where 228/234 .605/.609 on a 113LSA. The EPP blower cam is slightly larger but both have nearly the same drivablilty. thats the beauty of boost! you dont need something that surges and idles like ****. what you see in the vid is basicly an untuned setup. The hypertech that comes with the maggie isnt there to tune for the cam it basicly just pulls some timing and takes car of the larger injectors. getting a actual tune should still be high priority but you can still drive it without it and not look like a fool stalling all over the place. It also helps its a 6 speed, Autos really hate cams without a convertor...

Sadly it didnt make it 2 miles... CTS-v's rears are extremely weak, even weaker than the F-body 10bolts and the BRAN new one that was installed under warranty a week ago couldnt handle a 2nd gear roll on to ~3500rpms... We still dont have a solid tune in it yet but were taking it out to check it over and pick up some food... Since the tune isnt in it we were taking it easy never went WOT barely half throttle and never more than 4K rpms... we pulled out onto the main road roll into 2nd gear and it felt like it popped outa gear, put it in third and nothing... pull over and you can hear the problem... Ring and pinion dont seem to like each other... It didnt break the housing or anything just sheered off the teeth....

Anyway the house we pulled into the guy happened to work in the service dept at andrews and his brother is the GM there! haha so Cadillac road side picked it up from the guys house today and are taking a look at it. It SHOULD be covered under warranty. We explained everything to them and they seemed to think so to.... hopefully we'll know more today! It had less than 200 miles on it and im betting it wasnt setup right or never had fluid in it..
