Dodge Ram torque converter

I have getting ready to help put an engine in an 01 2500 Dodge Ram. The transmission is throwing a torque converter code so we figured it would be much easier to install a torque converter with the engine removed. This truck is used for hauling very often and I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an upgrade instead of just a stock replacement on the converter.
