    I'll give that to ya. I'd do it in a MKIV if I could find a cheapo chassis, and then I'd not worry about putting it into a wall while at the roadcourse.

    be a cool swap for sure, but just cost so much dang money... I've thought about it several times, heck I even figured using a LS4 trying to get the price down and it was still going to be $5000+

    LSX swaps arent expensive! If you have a welder and fab skills its easy.
    buy a 5.3 for $500
    buy a couple hundred dollar 4l60e or th350/glide/th400
    fuel pump
    harness and computer for 300
    beer

    patience, which you cant buy, and in which I do not have...thats the hard part

    You can add Lincoln Mark VII LSC to that list. And 12.9@106 if they need that info. Stock LS1 and 4L60.
