    New daily driver

    I haven't been on here in a while. I've been pretty busy with various things. Anyway, I picked this up last weekend.


    Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T Track. I like it pretty well so far. I hope to take some better pictures of it soon. I've been taking it easy on it so far, since I'm still breaking it in, but it's not too bad at stock power levels. I certainly wouldn't mind a little extra power, but maybe that will come later .

    I stopped and looked at those they are nice . I know they are priced about like a mustang arent they ? Do they perform like one ?

    It's not extremely fast stock, but not bad for a daily driver. Probably only a little faster than the '10 V6 Mustang in a straight line, but with considerably nicer suspension and brakes. I would have considered the '11 Mustang, but they aren't quite out yet. I'm driving quite a bit lately, so the gas mileage was fairly important. It's roomy for me, which is quite rare, and the fairly hefty feature list for the price range didn't hurt.

    I am not too sure what the Mustang's numbers are in the straight line, but on a road course / track, the genesis coupe is pretty darn impressive, and would beat out the newer model mustangs. From the factory the coupes are pretty stout little track cars.

    A friend who was on leave from Afganny bought one. Its at Ft. Bragg right now, but I cant wait for him to get back. I really like them...for a Hyundai.

    Saw a white one in Murfreesboro this afternoon and it sounded like they did something to the exhaust, the exhaust looked stock but was loud.

    RWD. 6-speed manual with Torsen LSD.

    The stock exhaust is very quiet. It's a little louder on the V6, but still nothing I'd call really loud.

    What kind of torsen do they use? A 50/50? I didnt know they had them either. Is it a option or does it come with the 4cylT?
