    Aaaarrrggghhhh!

I finally got a day that I was off and was not on 24 hour call, so I was able to go to the farm to see Dad and my grandparents for the first time since Christmas. On my way home, three deer jumped out of the woods in front of me. I managed to get the truck whoa'd down and dodge the first two, but the third nailed me in the side. She got the fender and both driver-side doors. It's kind of funny, this time last year, my old truck was in the body shop for over a month after being damaged in the ice storm. Looks like my new truck gets to go too. At least the girl that worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car was cute. Hopefully, she still works there and will give me a date. hahaha

There were at least 10 deer spread out in a field as I was driving home this evening, I guess the warm weather is getting them out.

After it happened, I went back to Dad's to check out the damage. Then, I went back to see if I killed the deer. About 15 minutes after I hit it, the deer was standing at the edge of the road, looking around. I drove past it twice and it just stood there looking around. haha What sucks is that I haven't even had the truck five full months and it was brand new when I got it.

What woulda REALLY sucked is if it had jumped out in front of you the second time you drove by LOL. I have noticed more deer around as well, moved all my cars the other day and saw 3 different areas with deer hangin out.

I think my noisy gear drive keeps them away from me.

Desperation: When one purchases a new truck and drives it into deer JUST to talk to the Rent-a-Wreck chick!

This thread is worthless without pics of either the deer, the truck, or the girl at enterprise. While Tennesspeed is a unique fraction of internet forums that displays intelligence for the most part, this is teh intarwebs, and we demand some sort of instant gratification.

PS. That really does suck about your truck. At least you got to see your family though. Wasn't that worth a truck?

I hope to be able to get some pics of the truck, this weekend. It's not real bad, but it's sickening since the truck is so new. But, it's just a truck. And, yes, at least I got to see Granny and Hinepa and my dad.
