Save up some money and do it right. Your car will thank you later.
i love my novi 2000
"BUT"
i wish last time out i was sporting a 76mm or 88mm turbo at the moment
with turbo theres no belt slip, no power wasted to turn the blower. you can run 373 or higher gears to spool it and pull killer gas mileage! my buddy with a gen 1 put 630rwhp on stock shortblock runs 355 gears and pulls 20-21mpg . i pull 11-14mpg now.... heck i may still go turbo later![]()

Call me if you need any advice, I've got another buddy with same setup.. Had driveability issues that you'll probly run into.. but nice anyways his made 605rwhp pegging the meter (BA2800)at only 6000rpm..
if its got stock pistons watch out on your boost levels and tune. 1st detonation #7 piston gone been there done that learned the hard way in 96 with a base vortech s trim kit . why number 7 dont know have an idea but not concrete . had a mustang shop at the time .. also worked and still work for ford. we tried to waranty motor ford saw #7 piston and imediately knew it was blown hmmmmm
